ABOUT ROSIE SANDRAGORSIAN
Ms. Sandragorsian combines fourteen years of experience in Somato Emotional Release using Craniosacral Therapy and the body’s subtle energy system with Traditional Chinese Medicine, Herbal Therapy and Acupuncture to stimulate the body’s innate healing capabilities. Her focus is on the root cause of disharmony in the body rather than the outer manifestations of various symptoms.
Her office provides a caring, supportive environment, where she has created a safe, sacred space that empowers her patients to forward their own healing process. She believes in the holistic approach of Traditional Chinese Medicine, considering each patient’s emotional, mental and spiritual condition at the same time as treating immediate or chronic physical issues. Additionally, she learned that “food is medicine” and trained in facilitating dietary and lifestyle changes that promote longer- lasting wellness.
Cosmetic Acupuncture is also a treatment that she studied with Martha Lucas L.Ac. PHD. It is called “MEI ZEN”, an acupuncture protocol using Traditional Chinese Medicine principles that revitalizes and rejuvenates the face and body.
Ms. Sandragorsian earned a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Herbal Therapy, from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, California. She also practices Crainosacral Therapy as trained under John Upledger, DO, and inspired by Diane Sandler, L.Ac. OMD. Ms. Sandragorsian performed her externship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles under the direct supervision of Jeannette Painovich L.Ac. D.A.O.M. Dr. Painovich trained Ms. Sandragorsian how to treat very difficult cases in a hospital setting by using Traditional Chinese Medicine and Master Tung’s Acupuncture protocols. There she observed the treatment of conditions including but not limited to acute CVA’s, hemiplegia, paraplesia, spinal cord injuries, post-surgical neck and back pain, craniotomies as well as total hip and knee replacements. This unique clinical experience provided Ms. Sandragorsian training not afforded to most acupuncture colleagues.
Other training includes sessions with Robert Chu, L.Ac., QME, PHD, RH (AHG) who has been practicing the Martial and Chinese healing arts since childhood and specializing in Master Tung Acupuncture and Optimal Acupuncture methods for treating pain, neuromusculoskeletal disorders, and internal medicine problems. Master Tung’s Acupuncture techniques send a signal to the brain to restore the body in harmony with a minimal amount of needles. Dr. Chu founded ITARA (International Tung's Acupuncture Research Association) devoted to the preservation, standardization, education, and research of Tung's Acupuncture, offering classes for the spread and advancement of Tung's Acupuncture.
Ms. Sandragorsian is a member of AAOM whose purpose is to enhance consumer protection, public health and safety.
